The key to trouble-free and efficient operation is an optimized automatic conveyor system. FSM is able to use its large and varied range of solutions to deal with all conveying and distribution situations.
Conveying of practically every material. Arrangements with a variety of discharge methods, mobile and/or slewing. Application in water and waste water treatment
Available in 3 sizes with screw diameters of 200, 300, 400 and 500 mm.
Functional principleThe screw conveyor can be directly charged via a coarse or fine screening unit, a screw conveyor or a screenings wash compactor. The screenings are then conveyed to the discharge point.
The discharge points can be variably arranged so that a complete container can be filled by one container. The screw conveyors can be provided in pivoted or travelling versions.
The "intelligent" screw conveyor can fill several container trolleys in combination with FSM container trolleys, the container can be uniformly filled without recourse to manual operation. When a double screw conveyor is used, the discharge hopper can be provided with an automatic slewing chute.
The material can be discharged to a wash compactor, belt conveyor, container etc.

Fluming conveyor for floating matter.
Functional principleScreenings are conveyed from a screening unit to the trough of the launder unit. Flushing water is introduced at the end of the trough, which flushes the screenings to the wash compactor. The flushing water can be drawn off by a pump behind the screening unit or taken from an industrial water supply network. An arch can be installed to protect downstream machinery from damage.
Larger wooden screenings, for example, are thus retained and can be easily removed.

Machinery and installations for acceptance and movement of one or more containers. Application in water and waste water treatment.
Rail-mounted container trolleys can be electrically or manually moved.
Up to four containers can thus be stored on revolving locations.
The containers can be covered to prevent odor trouble and the cover connected to an exhaust ventilator.
Functional principleOptimum filling of containers is an important operating cost factor. Incomplete use of the container volume leads to increased transport costs and additional supervision work by operating personnel.
FSM supplies systems in which the discharge point is moved longitudinally in two axes, so that the container is filled completely and automatically.
FSM container handling systems combine high performance with low maintenance costs.
Our rail-mounted container trolleys can be electrically or manually moved.
The container can be positioned either on the frame of the trolley or on a turntable.
This enables the lorry to drive up to the container in an ideal way even under confined space conditions.
With our container trolley turntable it is possible to move several container trolleys on a track or to “turn the corner”.
Depending on the installation layout, the containers can also be located on a carousel. Up to four containers can thus be stored on revolving locations. The containers are then filled consecutively, collected and replaced by empty containers.
Filling and rotation of the containers is done fully automatically.
The containers can be covered to prevent odor trouble and the cover connected to an exhaust ventilator.

Hoist system for vertical transport of various materials from pump stations etc.
Functional principleThe FSM skip hoist system features a collecting box (skip) mounted in guide rails.
At the upper end of the guide rails the skip is connected to a special winch that raises and lowers the skip.
At the upper section of the track the skip is guided over a container and tilted so that screenings and grit are discharged into the container.
At the start of the cycle, the empty skip is at the upper end of the track. The winch drive starts in the opposite direction and lowers the skip down to the end of the track.
The skip is now ready to take in screenings and separated grit.
In case of higher lifting heights, a second hoist is installed parallel to the first hoist, enabling the second hoist to be filled while the first hoist is being emptied.
A diverting chute is installed to apportion the screenings and grit to the two skips. The chute is swiveled by a drive from one discharge point to the other.
If the hoist system is required to be fully automatic, the skip must be provided with a level measuring device. Weighing cells can be used for this purpose.
